Model Mayhem Photoshoot

 If anyone knows by now, the people I shot are not professional models, even though they do a fabulous job at it. Most of them are my friends and acquaintances. Ever since I started doing portraits, I wanted to shoot a more experienced model. I just didn't know where to look. I was thinking Craigslist, but I don't want to get ax murdered.

So I created an account with Model Mayhem. What I like about the website, it's not just a site for models. You have photographers, hair stylist, makeup artist, retouchers, and so on. It's a good way for everyone to connect, collaborate, and work with each other through a reliable site. 

I had a pleasure working with my first experience model, Phil Alejandro. He did an excellent job, and his laid back attitude made me feel at ease because honestly, I was nervous. But he was easy to talk to, I didn't have to give him much direction, and we had a great conversation.
